66 North
66°North er et islandsk brand grundlagt i 1926 af
Hans Kristjánsson, som ønskede at lave beskyttende beklædning til islandske
fiskere og arbejdere, som var modige nok til at stå ansigt til ansigt med de
nordatlantiske elementer. Navnet, 66°North, stammer fra den breddegående linje
på den arktiske cirkel hvor virksomheden blev grundlagt, tilbage i 1926, Súgandafjörður.
